The most decorated female athlete in amateur mixed martial arts history will return to action in the pros at BRAVE CF 91.
Bahrain’s Sabrina de Sousa racked up an incredible list of accolades and accomplishments in the amateur ranks, including multiple IMMAF world titles, and is now looking to make her way up the pro ranks in a bid to become a world champion as a professional.
Her professional debut saw de Sousa claim a 29-second TKO finish of Monika Kiran Ghag at BRAVE CF 80 last December. Now, one year on, she’s looking to claim back-to-back wins as she prepares to face Filipina Mariane Mariano, a former Sanda Olympian from the 2008 Games, who has a 3-1 professional record in MMA.
Brazilian-born De Sousa splits her training time between Nova Uniao in Brazil and Team KHK in Bahrain, and the 24-year-old continues to fly the flag for the Kingdom following her stellar amateur career. Her return to action will see her join the likes of bantamweight champion Nkosi Ndebele, title challenger Nicholas Hwende, Bahraini star Hamza Kooheji and the return of Muhammad Mokaev.
BRAVE CF 91 will take place at the Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town, Bahrain, and form the first leg of a double-header of events for the promotion as they look to round out the year in style at BRAVE International Combat Week.
