Floyd Mayweather Jr. is welcomed by the Galatasaray striker Lukas Podolski in the Turkish capital Istanbul as the world champion continues to enjoy his retirement. Earlier this week the world famous boxer broke a Guinness World record in Moscow, Russia, as he invited hundreds of fans to attend an open training session.
The former Bayern Munuch and Arsenal player posted a picture on his Instagram that read: ‘Meet my boy @FloydMayweather nice hangout hope to see you soon again Champ #Poldi #floyd #strassenkicker #champion’
Before ‘The Money Man’ headed to Turkey to pay a visit to B4L management owner Umit Akbulut, the pair exchanged their hats from their respective brands.
Afterwards Mayweather posted,’ Happy to be back out in Istanbul, Turkey with my brother @umit_akbulut We have big business coming…stay tuned.! #b4lmovement.’
Meanwhile the 38-year-old boxer was involved in a bit of a controversy when he showed a rare one-of- kind baby tiger rom India, which was given to him as a Christmas present by Russian friends, when he was in Moscow.
‘Floyd Mayweather can have anything he wants, and what he should want is an end to the wild-animal trade, not to be a facilitator of it.’ Said Senior Vice President PETA, Lisa Lange.
Coming back to boxing, people are still awaiting news from Mayweather Camp about a possible comeback fight with Manny Pacquiao.
