Four fighters have pulled out of next two UFC’s upcoming events in China and Abu Dhabi.
On August 31, the UFC travels to Shenzhen, China and on September 7, it heads out to Abu Dhabi for UFC 242. However, both events have taken a hit with two fighters withdrawing each.
The newly-signed light heavyweight Jamahal Hill is out of his bout due to travel issues. He was to face fellow newcomer Da Un Jung at UFC in Shenzhen.
Also having withdrawn from the event is the prominent British featherweight Mike Grundy due to a possible injury. He was supposed to fight former M-1 Challenge champ Movsar Evloev but fell off the card.
On Tuesday morning, middleweight Adam Yandiev confirmed via Instagram he is out of his UFC 242 bout against Puna Soriano due to a knee injury that required surgery. Additionally, Lightweight Magomed Mustafaev has pulled out from his preliminary fight with South Africa’s Don Madge due to unknown reasons.
The replacements are being sought for Grundy, Hill, and Mustafaev. However it is not confirmed if a replacement is being sought for Yandiev.
