Usman Nurmagomedov will put his Bellator 155-pound title on the line against Alexander Shabliy in the main event as the Bellator cage heads to San Diego, California on Saturday, September 7.
The latest stop on the Bellator Champions Series calendar will see the Pechanga Arena play host to an 11-fight card, with all of the matchups officially confirmed to RDX Sports by Bellator officials.
The co-main event will see former interim bantamweight champion Raufeon Stots look to reposition himself for a shot at 135-pound gold when he takes on 15-3 Marcos Breno, while the main card also features a welterweight title eliminator, as long-tenured Bellator veteran Lorenz Larkin faces 13-2 contender Levan Chokheli.
Also on the main card, former welterweight champion Douglas Lima faces Aaron Jeffery at middleweight, while former UFC vet Yancy Medeiros takes on Jora Ayvazyan in the lightweight main card opener.
The Bellator cage will swiftly head across the pond for Bellator Champions Series: London the following week, as the OVO Arena at Wembley plays host to Bellator’s regular stop in the English capital.
Paris will then host the penultimate stop on the 2024 tour, with the brand new ADIDAS Arena hosting the event on November 16.
Bellator’s 2024 schedule then rounds off the year on New Year’s Eve with a show at a venue and location to be revealed in due course.
