The fight card for the PFL’s upcoming pay-per-view spectacular, Battle of the Giants, is now officially set, with a 10-fight lineup locked and loaded for Saturday October 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Headlining the event is the much-anticipated return to MMA of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who takes on 2023 PFL heavyweight world champion Renan Ferreira in a matchup that aptly fits the the event’s moniker. The pair will fight for the inaugural heavyweight superfights championship.
The co-main event features a battle of generational talents, as women’s MMA legend and Bellator women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg faces off against two-division PFL women’s champion Larissa Pacheco in a women’s featherweight superfights title bout to determine the best in the world at 145 pounds.
The fight card will also see a battle for the Bellator middleweight title, as reigning 185-pound champion Johnny Eblen faces former title challenger Fabian Edwards in a world title rematch.
Also set for action on the “Battle of the Giants” main card is a pair of former featherweight champions, with ex-Bellator 145-pound king AJ McKee set to face former Cage Warriors featherweight champ, Paul Hughes.
