GLORY light heavyweight world champion Tarik Khbabez (51-11-1, 28 KO) puts his title on the line against GLORY light heavyweight Grand Prix winner Donegi Abena (30-10, 10 KO) in a bad blooded trilogy fight at GLORY COLLISON 7 on December 7 at the GelreDome in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
Each man holds a win over the other, with Khbabez edging Abena via split decision to win the vacant light heavyweight title at the GLORY Heavyweight Grand Prix event in March, before Abena stopped Khbabez with leg kicks in the semi-finals of the light heavyweight Grand Prix in June.
Now the pair are set to face off for a third time, with the pair engaging in a war of words during the last year, and have needed security to keep them apart as tempers flared on occasion.
Now their rivalry will come to a head in Arnhem, with the light heavyweight title on the line.
Their matchup forms part of a loaded lineup for GLORY COLLSION 7 which will be headlined by GLORY heavyweight world champion Rico Verhoeven, who puts his title on the line against the winner of the upcoming contenders clash between Levi Rigters and Bahram Rajabzadeh, who will face off in the main event of GLORY 95 on September 21.
Also on the card at GLORY COLLISION 7, local rivals will collide as Tayfun Ozcan (87-10-3, 28 KO) and Younes Smaili (41-3, 19 KO) face off in an eagerly-anticipated 75-kilogram catchweight contest.
