The recent barrage of allegations from Conor McGregor’s former sparring partner Paulie Malignaggi is still making rounds in the media. McGregor rebuffed the claims he was making and now he has a better sparring offer to consider; from Vasyl Lomachenko.
Best offer for Conor
Vasyl is coming off a dominating win over the Colombian boxer Marriaga. He decimated his opponent in every possible way until the corner had to put an end to the fight.
The speed and skill of this southpaw rival that of a young Floyd Mayweather. The goading ability and the power (for a smaller fighter) is a match for the great one Ali.
“Hi Tech” must have heard from the troubles McGregor is having with his sparring partners so he took to Twitter. He addressed “Notorious” directly and offered his services as a sparring partner.
Vasyl has the finesse that Conor needs to train against, and the defense as well. Even a few days sparring with him can refine McGregor’s skill by a huge margin.
What does Lomachenko get?
Mayweather-McGregor has been the talk of the boxing world for months. It is clear that Lomachenko wants to get into the conversation.
He is widely considered one of the best boxers in the world right now, a little attention and a chance to showcase his skill where the world’s media is watching can only good for the young Ukrainian.
Lomachenko also can make some easy money while he is in between fights, which is probably the last thing on his mind coming off a big win just days ago.
If you haven’t seen ‘The Matrix’ fight than you should give the highlights of his fight with Marriaga a look here and see how dominant he can be.
McGregor will surely respond to Vasyl’s offer and whether he agrees to it or not, Lomachenko has already become a part of the conversation.
Mayweather and McGregor will meet each other on Aug 26 at the T Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in what is expected to be the biggest fight of the century.
