Former Bellator and PFL middleweight contender Norbert Novenyi Jr. is now officially a free agent.
The London-based Hungarian middleweight, who trains alongside Michael “Venom” Page at the London Shootfighters gym, joined Bellator after his first pro fight and won six fights in a row to become one of the promotion’s most promising rising prospects at 185 pounds.
His last bout for the brand came at the Bellator Champions Series event in Dublin in June 2024, where he was edged out via majority decision by fellow middleweight prospect Dalton Rosta.
But now, after his request to be released from his contract was granted by the PFL, Novenyi finds himself a free agent, and the 25-year-old will look to find a fresh challenge in a new organisation.
Novenyi shared the news of his contractual freedom via an Instagram post.

“And just like that, my Bellator era comes to an end,” he wrote.
“I’m incredibly grateful to PFL/Bellator for granting my request for release, making me officially a free agent.
“Bellator gave me some of the best moments of my life, and I’ll always be thankful for the opportunities I had.
“As a kid, I always wanted to fight in Strikeforce. Well, I guess this was Strikeforce for me.
“A special thank you to @kogan_mike, @rich_chou, and @therealscottcoker for signing that 18-year-old kid and giving him a platform to grow.
“The goal remains the same. To be the best in the world. I can’t wait to see what the future holds. #LSF4LIFE”
Novenyi heads into free agency with a professional record of seven wins, one loss, with four wins by submission and two by knockout.
