The stars of Oktagon 58 have taken to the scale to make weight ahead of fight night in Prague, with all 20 fighters set for action successfully hitting their contracted marks in the Czech capital.
The event, which is set to take place in front of 28,000 fans in Slavia Prague’s Eden Stadium on Saturday night, features a light heavyweight championship battle between defending champ Karlos Vemola and his rival and nemesis, Attila Vegh, in a rematch four years in the making.
Both men made weight without any issue, with Vemola tipping the scale at 92.9kg, marginally heavier than Vegh, who came in at 92.7
The co-main event will see welterweight rivals David Kozma and Ion Surdu face off in one half of the promotion’s welterweight title pyramic, with former champ Kozma and rising contender Surdu both coming in at the same weight, as they arrived on the scale at 77.6kg.
There were only two minor scares on the scale, as middleweight Marek Mazuch and lightweight Tipsport Gamechanger contender Akonne Wanliss both came in over their respective limits on their first attempts. Both went away and lost the necessary weight before returning to the scale to make weight and make their respective matchups official.
And thankfully there were no flashpoints when rivals Jaroslav Pokorny and Shem Rock faced off once again after weighing in. Their originally-planned bout at Oktagon 48 in Manchester was scrapped after the pair clashed at the official weigh-ins, with a stray kick from Rock leaving Pokorny injured and unable to compete.
This time around everyone kept themselves in check as Pokorny and Rock engaged in a tense faceoff, without the physical clash we saw last year.
😤 The grudge match is ON 😤
The feud rooted in bad blood is official for OKTAGON 58.

It all means the 10-fight card for Prague is now official, and we should be set for a spectacular night as Oktagon puts on its biggest show yet as they make their debut inside a football stadium, with their October event at the even bigger Deutsche Bank Park set to follow later this year.
