The full fight card is officially good to go at Oktagon 50 after all 20 fighters set for action in Bratislava successfully made weight for their respective matchups.
The event will be headlined by a Tipsport Gamechanger quarter-final, as Slovakia’s own Oktagon lightweight champion Ronald Paradeiser takes on Daniel Torres for a spot in the final four of the €1 million tournament.
Paradeiser needed two attempts at the scale to make weight for the bout, after initially coming in narrowly over the lightweight limit. But, after using the additional time allotted to him, “Rony” returned and made weight to ensure his participation in the tournament stayed alive.
Also needing a second crack at the scale was Predrag Bodganovic, who will take on Oktagon featherweight champion Losene Keita in the night’s other Tipsport Gamechanger quarter-final matchup. And, like Paradeiser, he made no mistake on his second attempt to lock in his co-main event bout with “Black Panther”.
The rest of the card all weighed in on the first attempt, with no slip-ups on the scale, to ensure that the full 10-fight lineup for Oktagon’s “Summer Party” event is ready to go for Saturday at Peugeot Arena.
