European promotion Oktagon MMA has unveiled its fight card for Oktagon 60, as the promotion returns to the Rudolf Weber-ARENA in Oberhausen, Germany for another big-arena show on Saturday, September 7.
The 10,000-seat venue will be packed to the rafters with passionate German fight fans, who will be eager to see one of their own test himself against an Oktagon MMA legend on his promotional debut.
Lom-Ali Eskiev arrives in Oktagon after a career that has seen him compete with distinction for Polish promotion KSW and Russian organisation ACA, and now the German will face Oktagon MMA royalty in the form of former two-division champion Ivan Buchinger in a lightweight contest.
The co-main event will see German crowd-pleaser Niklas Stolze attempt to add a 10th finish to his career record when he takes on Matous Kohout, while German light heavyweight contender Alexander “Ironside” Poppeck looks to make an undeniable case for a title shot with victory over French powerhouse Jorick Montagnac, who is 5-1 in his six Oktagon MMA fights so far.
The fight card will be packed with German fighting talent, including middleweight knockout artist Jaime Cordero, undefeated featherweight Max Holzer and lightweight Marcel Mohamed Grabinski.
The last time Oktagon held an event at the Rudolf Weber-ARENA, Germany’s Katharina Dalista successfully defended her Oktagon women’s strawweight title against France’s Eva Dourthe on a night that saw German fighters go 6-1 on the fight card.
And the German fans will be hoping for another successful night for their fighters on another packed card of matchups.
