UFC to return to South Korea for Pantoja vs Schnell. This will be UFC’s first trip to the city of Busan after previously holding an event in Seoul.
Schnell won 4 fights in a row in a flyweight division after starting off his UFC career following a few losses. The former “Ultimate Fighter” competitor has picke dback to back submission wins over Louis Smolka and Jordan Espinosa and earned up top 10 ranking in the division.
The Brazilian has gone 5-2 since joining the promotions with wins over Brandon Moreno, Ulka Sasaki and Wilson Reis. But Pantoja is suffering a loss in his last appearance after running into Deiveison Figueiredo in his recent outing.
Pantoja will be back on track when he faces Schnell in Seoul this December.
