The PFL’s 2024 campaign comes to a close in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as the season’s world champions are set to be crowned at the PFL World Championships.
The event, which also features the inaugural finals of the PFL MENA season, will see six PFL world champions crowned, with each winner winning a championship belt and a cheque for $1 million.
It’s the biggest night of the year for the Professional Fighters League and, at the official weigh-ins ahead of fight night in Riyadh, all of the fighters set to compete for championship titles all successfully made weight for their respective bouts.
Headlining the event is England’s Brendan Loughnane, with the 2022 PFL featherweight champion looking to become a two-time PFL world champion when he takes on undefeated Russian contender Timur Khizriev in the 145-pound finale.
The co-main event will feature the women’s flyweight division, with England’s Dakota Ditcheva taking on Brazilian former UFC contender Taila Santos for the 125-pound title, and a former champion returns in a bid to defend his crown, as 2023 light heavyweight champion Impa Kampanay faces off against Dovletzhan Yagshimuradov for the 205-pound championship.
Also on the card, former Bellator lightweight champion Brent Primus will go for PFL gold when he faces Gadzhi Rabadanov in the 155-pound final, and Denis Goltsov will trade leather with Oleg Popov for the heavyweight crown.
The preliminary card will also feature three PFL MENA season finals, as the PFL crowns its first MENA regional champions in the welterweight, bantamweight and lightweight divisions.
