It’s been a busy week for MMA news, with the UFC getting set for its first pay-per-view event of 2025, UFC 311, in Inglewood, California, with two title fights on the card as lightweight champ Islam Makhachev faces Arman Tsarukyan, while bantamweight champ Merab Dvalisivili takes on Umar Nurmagomedov.
Elsewhere, the PFL has announced the end of Bellator, and as well as the PFL Global Season, with the arrival of PFL World Tournaments, as they look to streamline their product for the coming year.
There’s also a big free agent on the market, after former Bellator champion Patricio Pitbull is released by the PFL, leaving him free to negotiate with the UFC.
