Covington is known for making enemies and it seems that he does not care where and when. He may have just made his biggest enemy yet.
According to the UFC 265-pound champion, Stipe Miocic ‘Chaos’ had said something to his wife and manager that he does not know yet but promised to find it out soon. Stipe’s wife was on her way to celebrate her husband’s knock out win against Daniel Cormier at UFC 241 to reclaim the belt.
“I’m kinda upset with that kid,” Miocic said, “He was saying stuff to my wife after my fight. I might have to talk to him about that. I’m not trying to start anything here, I’m just saying I want a normal conversation. I’m not gonna go out and take his head off.”
Well, let’s just hope no heads are taken out.
“My wife was walking to the cage, and I guess he was saying something to her and my manager being the man he is told him to shut the fuck up. To this day my manager won’t tell me what he said, so I’m going to find out. I’m very good, I’m like the FBI. I’ll find out what he said and I’m just gonna go up to him and talk to him about it.”
While others like Jorge Masvidal and Dustin Poirier want to throw fists at Colby after being disrespected, Stipe still wants to act Civil and just talk it out.
“I’m a normal guy,” Miocic said. “I’m just gonna go up to him and talk to him, I’m not gonna take his head off. I’m gonna go, ‘Hey man, what’s your problem’. I’m not mad at the kid, I just want to talk to him about it.”
Although we doubt that Stipe would be able to control if Colby showed slightest of a disrespecting gesture or even said a word that Spike does not like. It takes a nanosecond to enrage a boxer!
