It went beyond all expectations and predictions.

UFC 217 Highlights
The UFC 217 fight card included intriguing matchups, starting with the marquee fight between Georges St. Pierre and Michael Bisping all the way down to Randy Brown vs Mickey Gall.
GSP made his triumphant return to the octagon on Nov 4 against Michael Bisping. The fight went as many thought.
The crowd was chanting GSP, GSP, GSP!
St. Pierre showed some rust and he seemed tired by the third round. But there was no denying the superior skill and ground technique.
He caught Bisping with a strike and pounced on him to take him down. The end result was Bisping in a rear naked choke hold.
St. Pierre is the new UFC middleweight champion.
He is only the 4th fighter in the UFC to become a multiple division champion. Many believe that he has cemented his legacy as the greatest UFC fighter of all time…
They are not wrong.
Cody Garbrandt went into UFC 217 as an undefeated champion against the underdog TJ Dillashaw.
Dillashaw shook Garbrandt in the 2nd round of the fight and peppered him with a barrage of punches until the referee stopped the fight.
Another unbeaten champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, was the absolute favorite against Rose Namajunas. No one thought Namajunas had a chance in the fight.
Namajunas took the fight to Jedrzejczyk and brought the crowd to its feet with a stunning knockout victory.
She also won a lot of fans with her humble post-fight speech.
UFC 217 has already part of UFC history. And not that GSP is back in the game, there will surely be more nights like this to come!
