UFC invites its fans to attend pre-fight festivities starting from Wednesday with UFC 227 Open Workouts. You can catch live T.J Dillashaw, Cody Garbrandt, Henry Cejudo and Demetrious Johnson perform their workouts for their fans as well as media.
Fans are invited at 5.30 p.m. at The Nova at L.A. The first fighter to work out would be Johnson at 6.00 p.m. for a duration of 30 minutes, followed by Garbrandt, Cejudo and Dillashaw, each working out for an interval of 30 minutes.
This is not all.
UFC extends its arms wide open for its fans on Friday for ceremonial weigh ins at The Orpheum Theater in L.A. The public can enter the arena at 2 p.m. while the weigh ins will start at 3 p.m. local time.
And then there are the fights.
UFC 227 is scheduled for Saturday at the Staples Center in L.A. The main card of the show would be featuring T.J Dillashaw locking horns with former champion and a bitter rival Cody Garbrandt in the pursuit of the title. This is the second time the two would be engaging in a power show in the bantamweight category.
The co-event of the night is a sensational fight between Olympic Gold medalist wrestler Henry Cejudo vs. flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson. The bout is second title shot fight for the night. With Johnson holding the most successful title defenses under his belt, the encounter is expected to overwhelm the fans with phenomenal feats.
The action starts from Wednesday and goes all the way to Saturday, as fans expect pure fireworks from UFC 227 top guns.
