UFC CEO Dana White has officially unveiled a string of fights that will form a stacked card for UFC 306.
The event, branded “Noche UFC”, will take place on September 14 at the spectacular Sphere in Las Vegas, and in a special video this weekend, UFC boss white announced the big fights that will be on the card for Mexican Independence Day.
Headlining the night will see a battle for the bantamweight title, as champ Sean O’Malley takes on surging top contender Merab Dvalishvili, who heads into the bout on a 10-fight win streak.
The co-main event will also see championship action, with a women’s flyweight title trilogy fight between champion Alexa Grasso and former champ Valentina Shevchenko.
Grasso dethroned Shevchenko to capture the title at UFC 285 back in March 2023, and their rematch six months later ended in a split draw. Now the pair will meet for a third time to end the trilogy and put their competitive rivalry to bed.
Also set for the main card is an all-action clash at featherweight, as No. 3 contender and former title challenger Brian Ortega takes on Diego Lopes in a huge fan-friendly fight at 145 pounds.
Also confirmed for the fight card are Mexican stars Manuel Torres, Irene Aldana, Daniel Zullhuber, Edgar Chairez, Ronaldo Rodriguez and Yazman Jauregui.
