The final world title bout of 2024 is locked and loaded after Alexandre Pantoja and Kai Asakura both made weight for their flyweight title bout at UFC 310.
The last UFC pay-per-view of the year features the 125-pound title clash as its main event, and both men arrived on the scale half a pound under the championship limit, as they weighed in at 124.5 each for their title tussle.
The co-main event features a battle of undefeated welterweight contenders, as Kazakhstan’s Shavkat Rakhmonov takes on Ireland’s Ian Machado Garry in a fascinating clash that could propel the winner into a title fight in early 2025.
Both men used the one-pound leeway afforded to non-title fighters, as they both weighed in at 171 pounds for their five-round co-headliner.
Heavyweight contenders Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov tipped the scales at 245.5 and 254.5 pounds, respectively, while featherweight grapplers Bryce Mitchell (146) and Kron Gracie (144.5) both made weight for their bout.
The main card will open up with an explosive-looking clash between fellow crowd-pleasers Nate “The Train” Landwehr and “The Korean Superboy” Dooho Choi. The two featherweights had no problem making weight, with Landhwehr tipping the scale half a pound lighter than Choi, coming in at 145.5, compared to the South Korean star’s 146 pounds.
