The Octagon has been away for a decade, but the UFC is heading back to Macau for a UFC Fight Night event on November 23.
The UFC have announced that they will return to Macau for their fourth event in the region, with the Galaxy Arena set to host the event.
Galaxy Macau is a world-class luxury integrated resort destination in Macau, with the resort adding a brand new sports and entertainment arena, which opened in 2023.
That arena is now all set to play host to the world-famous UFC Octagon, with a UFC Fight Night card coming to Macau later this year.
The event was officially announced at an event partnership signing ceremony, with social media posts confirming the news.

UFC vice president and head of Asia Kevin Chang said, “We are ecstatic to be back at this incredible destination city.
“Our last UFC event here was a decade ago in 2014, and since then, our brand has grown by leaps and bounds.
“We are proud to partner with Galaxy Macau and can’t wait to put on an electrifying show at the state-of-the-art Galaxy Arena to the delight of fans across the region.”
The last time the UFC held an event in Macau was back in August 2014, as a crowd of 7,022 saw two future champions pick up big wins in the top two fights at the Cotai Arena.
The show was headlined by UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping, who stopped former Strikeforce champion Cung Le in the fourth round. The co-main event saw victory for Tyron Woodley, who stopped Dong Hyun Kim in just 61 seconds.
No bouts have been confirmed for the UFC’s return to the region, but a much larger crowd will be expected, with the Galaxy Arena – Macau’s largest indoor arena – boasting a capacity of 16,000.
