The UFC is set to continue its regular March stop in London, England, with a UFC Fight Night event set for The O2 Arena on Saturday March 22.
The promotion confirmed the news via announcement posts across their social media channels, with registration open for ticket interest ahead of seats going on general sale on Friday, January 24.
No matchups have been confirmed for the event at this early stage, but one bout that could feature prominently is a mooted fight between England’s Paddy Pimblett and Brazilian contender Renato Moicano, with the Brazilian posting on X to throw his hat into the ring for a main event matchup with “The Baddy”.
The last time the UFC was in the UK, the Octagon was in Manchester’s Co-op Live arena for UFC 304, which took place in the early hours of the morning to satisfy the UFC’s US pay-per-view commitments.
But UK fans will be relieved to know that the upcoming March 22 event will be taking place at UK prime time.
The UFC has a stacked roster of UK fighters, who are sure to be keen to be a part of the event, which will be the UFC’s 14th event at the iconic London venue.
The last time the UFC held an event at The O2 Arena was in July 2023, when Tom Aspinall defeated Poland’s Marcin Tybura in the main event. The main card that night also featured fellow Brits Molly McCann, Nathaniel Wood, Paul Craig, Jai Herbert, Lerone Murphy and Davey Grant.
