UFC Vegas 22 medical suspensions: Adrian Yanez will need a doctor’s clearance to compete at UFC 262

After an impactful third-round knockout win against Gustavo Lopez at UFC Vegas 22 on March 20, 2021, Adrian Yanez has injured his right hand. Unless cleared by an orthopedic, Yanez is facing a possible six-month medical suspension. If it continues like this, the Houston native’s suspension will end on September 17, 2021. He has been advised to get his right hand X-rayed and if the injury still persist, he will not allowed to contest until April 20, 2021 and no contact till April 11, 2021.

Adrian put on a tremendous performance in his last match and was seen as the faster, more precise striker. He is now beginning to acclimatize to the Octagon and is taking progressive step up the bantamweight ladder.
