UFC Vegas 95 weigh-ins: Three miss weight, but 10-fight card stays intact

The fighters took to the scale in Las Vegas ahead of UFC Vegas 95 at the UFC APEX, with a trio of fighters failing to hit their contracted marks.

Featherweight Chepe Mariscal arrived on the scale three pounds over the non-title limit for his co-main event assignment against Damon Jackson, while welterweight Danny Barlow came in 1.25 pounds over the limit for his main card matchup with Nikolay Veretennikov.

The third fighter to miss went was Chelsea Chandler, who missed the 136-pound bantamweight limit by five pounds, coming in at 141 pounds for her main card bout with Yana Santos.

All three fights will proceed as scheduled, with the three offending fighters set to be fined a percentage of their respective fight purses, with the fines going to their opponents to keep the bout on the card.

There were no such issues with the main event, as heavyweights Marcin Tybura and Serghei Spivac both arrived on the scale comfortably inside the 266-pound non-title limit for their rematch.

Tybura tipped the scale at 252 pounds, six pounds heavier than he did for their first meeting back in 2020, while Spivac came four pounds heavier than four years ago, with “The Polar Bear” registered an official weight of 238 pounds.
