50 Cent is willing to throw his hat into the ring and bet $1.6 million on Floyd Mayweather winning the mega-fight against Manny Pacquiao. Floyd Mayweather has been known to fancy a bet or two himself but it is he who is the subject of a huge bet, courtesy of Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent.

In return, if Floyd Mayweather wins the fight 50 Cent is going to bag $2.3 million. Despite the huge amount of the bet, 50 Cent has confidence that the champion from America is going to prevail, that too with ease.

He raved, “The champ gonna smoke him. It’s gonna look like [the fight] was pumped up for no reason.”

The two frenemies have endured a rocky relationship that has seen more bad times than good, but 50 Cent is adamant that both superstars have hashed it all out. It was just a year ago when Mayweather and 50 Cent were up in each other’s faces.

It all started with 50 Cent undermining Mayweather’s literary skills. 50 stated that he would donate three-quarter of a million dollars to charity if Mayweather is able to read a single page from the Harry Potter, the fiction novel.

Mayweather was quick to level the playing field by showing his last two pay cheques which amounted to more than $70 million.

After showing the cheques he said, “I’d be perfect at reading if it was how I had to feed my family.”

That was not the end of it, a series of events led Mayweather to talk smack about three rappers, 50 Cent included. 50 Cent’s reply was full of fury as he told Mayweather that he should hate Nelly’s guts, not his, because the rapper had relations with two of Mayweather’s girlfriends.

Talking to the ‘Breakfast Club’, 50 Cent told that there is no longer any animosity between him and Mayweather.

He said in the interview, “I can get mad at him. We can both get angry when we’re not speaking to each other.” He further added, “When we’re not communicating with each other, it gets crazy.”

Both Mayweather and Pacquiao are hitting the gyms in order to get ready for the richest fight in the history, with Pacquiao going incognito with his training in Los Angeles. It will be interesting to see which boxer draws first blood and whether it will be as easy for Mayweather as 50 Cent predicts.
