Much like most of the MMA community Jon Jones is aware of Johnny Walker. The dynamic 26-year-old Johnny Walker has impressed audiences in his three performances so far. Due to Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Brazil 2, Walker has enjoyed a lot of fanfare. His previous exposure and experience has earned him a contract with the UFC. Following his debut, Walker exploded on the UFC scene. He grabbed three victories while spending less than a total of three minutes time in the Octagon.

You don’t need to remind Jon Jones that Johnny Walker is on the come up. “Bones” knows.

“Johnny Walker is somebody that I’m very aware of. I know I’m gonna be fighting him sooner or later.”

Since making a splash with his UFC debut in November, Walker is looking to continue climbing up the rankings. The Brazilian has been able to pick up consecutive knockout wins in a combined total of just over two minutes. His most recent performance was a 15-second TKO so he has showed some promise in his UFC career.

Jon Jones recently met Johnny Walker in Las Vegas where both the stars gathered to compete at UFC 235. Apparently, ‘Bones’ had a pleasant time with the youngster.

“And I just appreciate his energy. He seems like a nice guy. He just radiates his happiness and his positivity, and it’s refreshing.”

Jones also said,

“He seems like the type of guy I’d go out and have a beer with. He’s cool. He seems cool…until we fight. And then after I beat him, he’ll be cool again.”

Both men were victorious in their UFC 235 bouts. Johnny Walker earned the TKO victory over Misha Cirkunov. Meanwhile, Jon Jones defeated Anthony Smith in the main event via unanimous decision.
