Begin Halloween theme workout with this fun and effective warm-up. This is a good way to increase body temperature and will prepare the body for the challenges during the training session. Start this exercise in a straight standing position, step forward with the right foot and move the left leg out in front and at the same time moving the right hand in direction of the left leg. Be careful to keep your knee over your ankle, your hips and shoulders squared off with your front leg and your arms away from your body. You may also add hand weights to hold out in front of the body for increased intensity.

 Spider Crawls

One athletic exercise that relates to the Halloween theme and helps to burn fat is the Spider Crawls.

This exercise is the best work out for your abs, arms, chest, and shoulders. Get into a press-up position, raise one foot off the floor and position your knee up in the direction to your elbow. Take a quick rest, then return to the starting position and repeat on the other side. This is an effective workout that can boost stamina and will keep the muscles in shape during this holiday period. Do 5-6 sets of 10 repetitions will do the job to protect you from gaining Halloween extra weight.

Push-Ups 

Assume a prone face down plank position with hands shoulder-width apart and feet together. Drop down into a push-up while drawing the right knee toward the right elbow. Keep the body as straight as a plank and push yourself back up into the prone upright position. Repeat the movement on the left side. Remember to breathe out while pushing up and in during the muscle-lengthening phase.

Sit-Ups

Although an old-school technique, sit-ups and push-ups are one of the most effective forms of exercises. Lie on your back. Make sure that your legs are in a straight position and place your hands on the things. Start with a slow sit up while gliding the fingers down toward the knees. Then move to a sit-up tall position and slowly get back to the starting position while engaging the core muscles.

Core strength is one of the biggest motivators for doing sit-ups. It helps strengthen, tighten, and tone your core, while reducing the risk of back pain and injuries. You’ll be able to move with greater ease as you complete your daily routine and participate in athletic activities.

Dead lifts

Deadlifts can be done with a barbell, dumbbells, kettlebell, or without any weight.

While doing a deadlift, always keep a flat back. This is one of the toughest training routines to indulge in, so make sure you have all the training equipment needed for a routine this demanding. Pushing your butt away from you while. lowering your torso will ensure that you are keeping your back activated. Keep a tight core and your chin up. You will feel a stretch on the way down in the backs of your legs i.e. your hamstrings. Bring the weights to your knees. When lifting, make sure you don’t round that back. Push your hips forward as the weights or resistance rises your legs.
