The former lightweight title challenger is facing a potential 180-day layoff following his unanimous decision loss to Hooker in the UFC 243 co-main event this past Saturday. Iaquinta must have x-ray clearance for injuries to his left tibia, fibula and foot before he can compete again. Hooker, meanwhile, will be sidelined 30 days for left knee lacerations with 21 days of no contact.

The former lightweight title challenger Iaquinta will be facing a long layoff following his unanimous decision loss to Hooker in the UFC 243 co-main event this past Saturday.

The 32-year-old, American MMA fighter has been handed a provisional 180-day suspension by the Professional Boxing and Combat Sports Board of Victoria. Iaquinta requires X-rays of his left tibia, fibula and his foot. The suspension can be lifted unless he gets clearance by Physicians.
