On April 29 two heavyweight titans battled in front of a crowd of 90,000 plus in one of the most exciting boxing matches of all time. Anthony Joshua vs. Wladimir Klitschko reminded the world why boxing is one of the most exhilarating sports in the world.

The power, skill, and stamina were on full display for the entirety of the match. Joshua eventually came out on top when the fight was stopped in the 11th round. Now both fighters are set to do it all over again.

Vegas in November

Eddie Hearn, Anthony Joshua’s promoter, recently revealed in an interview that he had visited Las Vegas with Joshua to speak with Nevada boxing officials and areas for promotions of the possible rematch.

Hearn said that it ‘went well’ and 11th November has been penciled in as the date of the rematch.

The concerned people are still in talks with venues to see which arena will host the fight. However, it will be Vegas for sure.

Anthony Joshua is the current IBF and WBA heavyweight champion and is considered to be the future of heavyweight boxing. Klitschko ruled at the top of that division for years.

Any matchup with these two boxers is automatically a must watch fight.

Waiting on Klitschko

The plans for the fight are still in their initial phase. Wladimir Klitschko hasn’t signed the contract to make the fight official yet.

The 41-year-old did have a clause for a rematch and it is expected that he will activate that clause and the fight will put on the books for Nov 11.

Things have started falling into place and boxing fans can’t wait to see this rematch.

Excitement for Joshua doesn’t end here; there is speculation that his next opponent, after the Klitschko rematch, could be none other than WBC champion Deontay Wilder.

But that’s very far off, for now, Joshua has to focus his attention back on Wladimir Klitschko.
