A light heavyweight division attraction has been recently added to Bellator 231 according to the media reports. Light heavyweight prospect Dalton Rosta will be seen in action against Ahmed Samir Hefny.

Rosta (1-0 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) made his professional MMA debut in March at Bellator 219 after a 7-0 record as an amateur and never having gone to the judges’ decision. The Pennsylvania-based light heavyweight also went undefeated during his time as an amateur MMA fighter, defeating the trio of Trenton Zdarko, Devon Harrell and Cody Brundage. Rosta has competed a total of four times as an amateur/professional MMA fighter and all of those wins came by way of KO/TKO.

A former champion of the Ring of Combat promotion, Hefny (1-1 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this encounter and the fighter hasn’t picked up a win in over two years. After the Egyptian fighter secured the ROC title with an 11-second knockout in September 2017, Hefny lost to Kevin Sears at MMA Pro League 1 in September 2018.

Bellator 231 takes place on Friday, October 25 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Frank Mir and Roy Nelson headlining.
