There has been a lot of talk about Floyd Mayweather Jr. making an entry into MMA. Media personalities and people affiliated with UFC have ‘confirmed’ that negotiations between Mayweather and Dana White are in progress.

The number of $1 billion was also thrown around a lot.

Floyd Mayweather has come out and shut down all the news and stories about him trying MMA.

Could or Would Mayweather do it

Money made a statement recently, which was the reason for all the rumors, in which he said that he could make $1 billion fighting inside the octagon.

He claimed that it would only take 3 or 4 fights. He even mentioned the possibility of fighting Conor McGregor.

Turns out Floyd was just speaking about his ability to make that kind of money in the UFC. He is not actually going to do it. It’s a case of could he do it and would he do it.

He could step inside the octagon. Fight 4 guys, including McGregor, and make $1 billion.

Then go back to his retirement.

Would he do it? Nope.

Is there any possibility?

If we are being straight, Floyds has talked like this about what he will do before. Most recently about fighting Conor McGregor.

That ended up happening.

And with Money, you can never be too sure about anything.

Everyone Waiting for ‘Money’

This recent MMA hype about Floyd shows that everyone wants to be a part of the ‘Money’ show.

The man has been the part of the 2 richest fights in boxing history.

A myriad of fighters has called out Floyd Mayweather in recent months to see if they can manage to do what McGregor pulled off.

But the man himself has completely removed the possibility of ever stepping into the ring or octagon.

He has said that he doesn’t even think about returning to boxing.

There you have it.

There is no possibility of Floyd Mayweather Jr. fighting in any form or way. If you are willing to take his word for it.

Share.
