The 36 years old Filipino fighter approved the conditions set by the boxing diva, but Mayweather’s representatives are still publicly silent on the discussions. Mayweather is yet to agree a deal, that is expected to be the most lucrative clash in the history of boxing. Both the stars were unable to finalize their fight plan in recent years as the top ranked Floyd Mayweather was urging for Manny Pacquiao’s random drug-testing protocol. This fight was also highly demanded by public since 2009 but the deal fell apart.
Mayweather commented in this regard:
“I would love to fight Manny Pacquiao. We tried to make the fight happen years ago; we had problems with random blood and urine testing,”
Furthermore, according to various sources from United States, a good step is taken ahead to make the fight happen this year, as both the opponents approved the principle on USADA testing, earlier a hindrance on Pacquiao’s side.
Both the boxing stars agreed that the fight is about legacy, this is for making the fight lovers happy and, above all, it is for the goodwill of boxing. Pacquiao was always been publically eager for the fight for couple of years but Mayweather has revealed less concern.

“Manny Pacquiao needs to focus on the guy in front of him (Chris Algieri). Once he gets past him, he can look to the future. If the Pacquiao fight presents itself, let’s make it happen.”
