Gillespie has always been unshakable when it comes to calling anyone out for a fight as the 32 year old American fighter prefers to take on whoever is in front of him and likes to play it smooth with his winning strategies.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Gillespie took the opportunity and came forward with a powerful post in which he called out to Anthony Pettis and expressed his interest in taking on a fight with him on Nov 2nd in New York.

‘The Gift’ also confessed that after the last 6 fights he has had, he has been under pressure to call someone out. He also said that he never wanted to call someone out like that but looks like he will have to play the game too.

Gillespie kept it easy while enjoying his bowl of Wheaties and wrote, “I want my first ‘call out’ to count so…… @showtimepettis I think you are a great fighter, but you are in the wrong weight class, come back down to 155 and meet me at MSG on November 2,’

Gillespie has made quite an impact in his last 6 fights, with his relentless pace and wrestling moves. The Gift has finished all of his UFC fights but one, which makes him one of the fastest rising stars in the game.

Keep your fingers crossed, as you’re about to witness one heck of a call out this November!
