This coming Saturday, Anthony Joshua will enter the ring to face his longtime rival Dillain Whyte, who defeated him in 2009 at the amateur level. But since then the journey of both the British based fighters has been different.

Anthony Joshua nicked named AJ has progressed quite well, both at amateur levels and then moving on to pro boxing. On the other hand Dillian White had to face many difficulties as he was banned for two years for using banned substance. Although, Whyte is also undefeated in his 16 professional fights so far as compared to Joshua’s 14 bouts, but he is yet to be tested at this level. This is the main reason why most people heavily tip AJ to win comfortably. The fight will take place at the O2 Arena on December 12, and it will be live on Sky Sports Box Office from 5pm.

After his public workout, Joshua said: “There’s a real divide in supporters. That’s what boxing is all about. We’ve got a rivalry going on and we get to put it to bed on Saturday night. Thanks for everyone who came to see me today and good luck to Dillian for his public workout.”

Joshua is gearing up for the fight, which will be for the British title. He can’t wait to enter the ring to settle the old score with Whyte.

Joshua doesn’t like making predictions but wows he will not allow Whyte to beat his record of knocking out opponents in less than three rounds.

Whyte who has been very out spoken and critical of his opponent in recent times has once again thrown some garbage at AJ. He said: “All people have to do is look into Anthony Joshua and they’ll see he’s a scumbag. He’s had a lot of media training and mind coaching and he brings it across well to the public and the media, but if you look deeper, you’ll see. He’s a robot and does what he’s been told to do and says what he’s been told to say.”

Prediction:

The odds are heavily tilted towards Anthony Joshua in the fight against Dillian Whyte. Most people expect Whyte to last not more than two rounds. Due to the much superior athletic abilities of Joshua, Whyte stands no chance.
