It appears Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington will finally have a chance to settle their long-standing dispute.

On Tuesday night, UFC president Dana White officially announced targeted plans for the welterweight title bout between Usman and Covington to take place at UFC 244 in New York on November 2.

According to the recent reports, at least one side has verbally agreed to the fight, although bout agreements have not been signed as yet.

The two have had an aggressive rivalry, with Covington struggling to upset Usman’s open workouts ahead of this last spell. The two are quite different from each other in terms of personality and persona. While Covington enjoys his antagonistic role, whereas Usman remains a humble fighter who tries not to get personal ahead of fights.
