KSI vs Faze Temperrr confrontation resulted in KSI’s fastest win to date in front of thousands of pumped-up UK fans in London’s OVO Arena last Saturday. KSI, the boxing-savvy Brit, who gained notoriety as a social media influencer, swooped another victory to his name quite conveniently.

He brutally knocked out Thomas “FaZe Temperrr” Oliveira. The duel between the two occurred as the main event at the DAZN+Misfits: X Series 004 event, promoted by Kalle Sauerland, who recently signed a 5-year deal with DAZN.

What Led to KSI vs Faze Temperrr Showdown?

KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji, is one of the most famous influencers/YouTubers/content creators/boxers alongside Jake Paul.

KSI’s career in the ring began with a knockout victory over Joe Weller. He had back-to-back matches against YouTuber-turned-pro-wrestler Logan Paul, drawing the first match and winning the second (his only as a “professional”) on November 9, 2019. He progressed his career with wins over Rapper Swarmz and Luis. Alcaraz Pineda on August 27, 2022.

The popular YouTuber took on Temperrr as a backup opponent after Conor McGregor’s former training partner Dillon Danis pulled out of the fight last week.

Thomas Oliveira, a Brazilian-American social media celebrity, is a digital creator and gamer. Known professionally as FaZe Temperrr, he first rose to fame through his eponymous YouTube channel, which has over 2 million subscribers. Thomas is also known as the executive director of the FaZe Clan organization based in Los Angeles.

Thomas also grew up with a martial arts background, which helped him transition to boxing. Oliveira was on the O2 card and was brutally eliminated by Slim Albaher. The Brazilian defeated Britain’s “King Kenny” in his YouTube boxing debut and bounced back from a loss to Slim when he defeated Overtflow in November 2022.

A Snapshot of the KSI vs Faze Bout

KSI dominated the battle to the knockout, making short work of his opponent in the first round. With a sluggish right hand that found its target, followed by a left hook to the chin that was more like a swing, he sent Oliveira to the ground.

Oliveira tried to get up but immediately fell onto his side again. After that, the referee declared the fight over after 2:19 minutes in the first round.

What’s KSI Eyeing For? None Other than Jake Paul!

After the fight, KSI stated that his ultimate goal is to face fellow social media turned-boxer, Jake Paul. Until then, however, he would like to straighten things out with former UFC champion Tyron Woodley or British businessman Joe Fournier.

Here’s how he goes about it:

“I said I wanted a KO. I said I wanted round 1, and here we are, baby. I want you guys to understand the levels, look at what Swarms did to Ryan Taylor, look at what Pienda did to that other guy.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m on a different level. Joe Fournier, I want a piece of that! Tyron Woodley, I want a piece of that!’

“I want to be tested,” KSI said after the win. “I want one more test before I hit the last level, the last point – Jake motherf– ‘Paul!’”

‘I’m shivering with fear’ – Jake Paul Mocks KSI in Response

Jake Paul, true to his name and fame, likes being an entertainer more than anything else, perhaps. Not that he can’t be anyone else. But because he chooses not to be, as he has repeatedly proven, he walks the talk. So, he mocks KSI in response to his challenge:

At the time, a video tweeted by brother Logan showed that the American was not exactly trembling at the thought of an epic encounter with his Internet sensation.

This added more fuel to the fire, though:

FaZe vs KSI Main Event of the Night

KSI comes into this recent match on the back of his double play, where he successfully defeated the Swarmz and Luis Alcaraz Pineda in one night. Temperrr, on the other hand, was looking for redemption after a stunning loss to Slim Albaher at the same event.

Soon after the bell at the start of the first round, a quick right from KSI went straight between Temperrr’s hands, sending him immediately to the mat.

Unable to get to his feet, the fight was stopped with just 48 seconds left in the first round. FaZe Temperrr’s quick KO loss is the second in a row via knockout.

KSI is increasing his boxing skills, his latest win against FaZe Temperrr being his fastest to date. During KSI’s short stint in the ring, the British influencer maintained an undefeated record as well as the Cruiserweight Championship.

Faze vs KSI Undercard

KSI vs. FaZe Temperrr hosted six additional undercard and co-main event matches. You can view the results for the entire fight card below.

Slim Outboxes Zanetti

Slim Albaher was forced to go the distance against debutant Tom Zanetti but did so without too much effort to retain the Misfits Light Heavyweight Title.

Zanetti showed great courage to go all four rounds, although he will surely return to the ring at some point in the not-too-distant future.

Salt Papi Stands Tall Again!

Salt Papi, the fan favorite, showed everyone again why people love him so much. A second-round stoppage helps him make light work of Josh Brueckner.

In fact, Salt Papi was up to the task right from the first bell. Josh Brueckner never really troubled him throughout their confrontation.

Papi managed to land a finishing blow with a monster left hand that left Brueckner lying on the canvas, unable to continue.

Pineda Walks Out Victorious Over B-Dave

Luis Pineda defeats B-Dave on the scorecard in a one-sided performance to overwrite his embarrassing loss to KSI last year.

The Mexican boxer controlled the fight and knocked B-Dave down in the second round, although he was able to beat the count-out.

Swarmz Beats Taylor, Bizarrely Though!

Swarmz recorded his first boxing win with a first-round victory over Ryan Taylor, who had to retire early due to an eye injury!

The latter was injured after a blow from the opponent and immediately made it known that there was a problem because he could not see in one eye.

It’s redemption for Swarmz after losing to KSI in his in-ring debut last year!

Brooke Makes a Statement with First-Round Victory

Elle Brooke stopped Faith Ordway in the first round with a fantastic performance!

The OnlyFans star jumped out of the blocks and managed to hurt Ordway with a big right before the referee waved the fight off.

Brooke’s record is now 2-0.

Virgo Outscores Taylor

Idris Virgo extended his professional unbeaten streak to 13 matches with a straightforward scorecard victory over Anthony Taylor in the night’s first fight.

He managed to take down Taylor in the third round. But he couldn’t convert it into a stoppage, although he will be pleased with his dominant performance to get the MisFits off to a promising start.
