November 28 was supposedly the worst day of Wladimir Klitschko’s life and career as on that day, he lost his four world heavyweight titles, WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO, to the new undefeated British pugilist Tyson Fury. The fight went on for 12 long rounds after which, by Unanimous Decision, Fury was announced the winner of the fight. Unfortunately for Fury, his IBF belt was stripped off a fortnight after he won it because he signed for a rematch with Klitschko instead of fighting the IBF’s number 1 heavyweight contender.
The Ukrainian fighter Klitschko holds a track record of 64-4 with 53 KOs. The 39 year old legendary fighter is determined to win back his titles and glory. He lately said, “For the first time in so long, I had to experience the feeling of stepping out of the ring as a loser. That was very disappointing for me. I suffered day and night after the fight and I am still suffering.” He also said, “I have decided to seek a rematch against Fury. I want to show that I have much more to offer and I want to overcome this challenge. I could not realize my potential during the last fight and I want to, and will, change this in the return match.”
