Nov 4 is when one of the greatest to grace the octagon in UFC makes his return. Georges St. Pierre will make his long-awaited return to the world of MMA against Michael Bisping. Bisping will be defending his UFC middleweight championship. Here is what we think this fight will be like in the form of Bisping vs GSP predictions.

Take a look at the betting odds and main card of the fight.

Bisping vs GSP Predictions

What Bisping can do

‘The Count’, who has worked hard and faced adversity in the past, is finally at the top of the UFC mountain.

He has had the most fights in the UFC to get a title shot.

When he was a member of the RDX family the talent and a champion’s will was there. Now, he has proven all his doubters wrong.

He is still in the best shape of his life, not many fighters can compete with Bisping as far as stamina is concerned.

The man has the lowest resting heart rate in the UFC. At 35 bpm he is only 8 beats more than the world record.

To put this in perspective, normal resting heart rate ranges from 60 to 100 bpm.

It means that Bisping is among the elite most athletes in the world.

He will bring his hard-hitting style to the fight and he will have the weight and power advantage over GSP.

His jab is very difficult to counter and he will make good use of that. His left hook has proven to be deadly.

This will be the toughest test that Bisping has faced as a champion but he is the favorite going into UFC 217.

What Georges St-Pierre can accomplish

GSP hasn’t fought anyone in 4 years.

The lack of action makes this the most uncertain fight of his career.

He is also fighting above his weight class for the first time, which poses another kind of challenge.

When he was active though, he was considered one of the greatest champions in UFC history.

His background in Kyokushin Kata, in which he has a 3rd-degree black belt, gives him his clean striking ability.

That coupled with his speed could give Bisping real trouble.

GSP’s takedowns are legendary. He will try to work the ground game because that’s where he has the real advantage.

There are too many ‘ifs’ where GSP is concerned. Nonetheless, his return is a definite welcome sight for UFC and MMA fans.

How do you think the fight will go down? Will the rust take down GSP? Or will Bisping fall to returning GSP?
