It’s just 24 hours before the biggest nights in UFC history, Conor McGregor will face the reigning champion Jose Aldo at the MGM Grand on Saturday night for the UFC featherweight champion.
Both McGregor and Aldo were present at the MGM Grand Arena on Tuesday for media workout in front of thousands of fans.
Speaking to the media McGregor said: ‘Respect for me is earned through battle. If he [Aldo] shows up and shows heart, he’ll earn my respect. Can’t respect a man who runs, who evades.’
‘I feel that he feels he’s handcuffed and forced into this. He doesn’t want to be here. He’s confused, he doesn’t know what’s going on and he can’t wait for it to be over.’ The Irishman added.
Dublin’s favourite son – at least as far as MMA is concerned was welcomed by a raucous crowd– completed the formality of a media workout of about 20 minutes.
Before all that activity took place, Aldo entered the ring to a chorus of boos from Irish fans. He responded by saying I’m going to win this wherever this fight takes place.
This is going to be the closes and most anticipated fights in the history of UFC, one thing is for sure that McGregor is going tho throw everything at Aldo in order to win this battle.
