Cris Cyborg and Holly Holm are set to fight at the UFC 219 on December 30 in Las Vegas for the title of UFC women’s featherweight. This match is considered one of the biggest women’s fights in the history of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Cris Cyborg- The Featherweight Champion
Cris Cyborg Justino (18-1, 16 KOs) has not lost even a single fight since her first fight in 2005.
Justino won the featherweight title after defeating the Tonya Evinger in January via TKO (knees). After beating Evinger in UFC 214, she was able to extend her unbeaten streak to 19.
Holly Holm- The Former Bantamweight Champion
Holm is behind no one. She is the former three-division boxing champion.
She has the record of ending the reign of Randa Rousey in UFC 193 when she was the bantamweight champion.

After her remarkable win, Holm is facing the unfortunate fall in her career. She won only one match in her last four fights against the Bethe Correia three months ago.
The worst fight she ever faced was against the Miesha Tata at UFC 196 when she lost the women’s bantamweight title. She couldn’t reverse her fate and lost two consecutive matches against Shevchenko in July 2016 and Germain de Randamie at UFC 208 in June.
Cyborg Vs Holm In UFC 219
No one had ever expected to see such a big bout in women’s MMA. They both were nowhere near the spotlight in MMA world.
Holm had to go through the three straight losses and Justino was facing a lengthy doping suspension. She failed the drug test in December 2016 that made matters quite circuitous for her.
She was threatened to be sidetracked for almost two complete years. However, the cards just turned into her favor later. The US Anti-Doping Agency and UFC wiped away the suspension by granting her the therapeutic use exemption for the banned diuretic.
