Just when the former champ was in a bid to gain revenge against his earlier loss, he got injured. Haye got an injury on the left bicep, so the match was postponed until March 24/May 5, 2018.

“My eagerly-anticipated rematch with Tony Bellew on December 17 has been postponed,” Haye.

This all happened during his stair condition session when he met a freak accident like never before. Haye lost the footing and was about to slip when he grabbed a banister.

Haye apologized to all of his eager fans who were equally jazzed in to see the one-on-one savage match between the two. Haye set aside, Bellew was equally disappointed after this unfair stroke of luck.

“I’m gutted that the rematch with David has been postponed, both for myself but more for the fans,” Bellew shared.
