On November 15 at UFC 193, one glorious winning streak came to an end while the other advanced. The legendary mixed martial artist Ronda Rousey lost her UFC women’s bantamweight championship to the expert MMA fighter and the former boxer Holly Holm. Holm KOed Rousey with a kick on her head and a few punches afterwards.

The former WWE superstar Tazz claimed that Holm’s victory over Rousey was fixed, just like WWE fights. He said, “Why are some people not seeing this? This has been done in the wrestling industry for years. A guy or girl is going to take a break or go away, or has an injury that they have to tend to, whatever the reasons are, and they’re a champion – you take the championship off of them. You do not want your champion sitting home or making a movie, Roadhouse 2 or whatever Rousey’s going to do, or whatever Rousey’s going to do, or just needs a personal break, which she’s earned. This girl’s earned it. But you don’t want that person sitting home for five, six, seven months with that championship. It’s bad for business! Take the belt off her!”

Tazz said that in his opinion, Rousey was involved in all the propaganda. Later, Tazz was opposed and criticised by many people after which he lately gave another statement in which he defended his previous statement and said that he was just giving his opinion.

Yea…let’s listen to a wrastling muppet…thats like listening to a soccer player tell you about football. No champion “gives up” their belt, what better way to preserve your worth. You go until you’re stopped then you make Rhoadhouse 2. Why does an actor (“Tazz”) get any say on a real sports page. This is bad reporting, I expected more RDX.

  2. Whenever there is a up set match, this question will always rise that was it been fixed??? I don’t think so that in this. In my view that was just Holm’s tremendous workout and planning which surprise not only Rousey, but in fact all of us.
