In front of an electrifying crowd Bobby Lashley and Dan Charles locked horns under the banner of Bellator 138 on the main card. As expected, the ex-WWE sensation Lashley gave Charles more than he could chew. It could have been easily noted that Lashley was the better one from the two in the night.
Right from the beginning the fight appeared one-sided affair due to Lashley’s dominating grappling and hitting techniques. Charles tried in vain to fight against the “Dominator”, but Lady Luck had already decided to favour Lashley.
Lashley defeated Charles in the second round through TKO punches and proved that he is coming for the title fight soon. Lashley indeed knows how to create ripples inside his weight division.
Wearing RDX gears for the fight, Lashley descended into the ring in front of an electrifying crowd. He was already chosen as the favourite for the fight by the MMA gurus because of his experience and superior skills and today he proved them right.
By taking down Charles, Lashley marked his third consecutive victory in the Bellator MMA, which means he is now a step closer to the Bellator heavyweight title. Although, age is not on his side, yet looking at his strength and agility, the former wrestling pro looks in great shape to move up the ladder of success in Bellator.
