The legendary Mohammad Ali is the latest amongst the greats to predict a win for Manny Pacquiao. The Filipino boxer claims Pacquiao will win the ‘Fight of the Century’ against Floy Mayweather Jr., a prediction that is shared by other Hall of Fame members such as like Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson.

Ali not only predicted a win for Pacquiao but declared that he was going to root for the eight-division champ. Rasheda Ali, Ali’s daughter, revealed recently that her father admires Pacquiao both on and off the ring because he likes how humble the boxer really is.

Rasheda spoke to TMZ about her father’s favorite at the May 2 bout, “My dad is team Pacquiao all the way. My dad really likes Manny, he’s a huge fan of his,” she further added, “He knows Manny’s a great fighter but it’s more about what he does outside the ring. He’s such a charitable person.”

Rasheda did admit that her father respects Mayweather’s prowess as a boxer, but she also said that his personality outside the ring is something that his father never stood for in his years. When asked where Ali would watch the mega-fight Rasheda was glib in her reply.

“There’s no question he’s going to order it. It takes my dad way back to when he was fighting.”

Although she did say that Ali would want nothing more than to be in a ringside seat and cheer Pacquiao on but his current bout of health would only allow him to watch the match through PPV.

Mayweather versus Pacquiao will be held in MGM Grand, Las Vegas on May 2.
