Today Bruce Buffer was in headlines suggesting to American MMA artist Nate Diaz that he should be bowing down to UFC President Dana White every time he sees him. Buffer, who is the official announcer for octagon events, had the following t say to the 33-year-old fighter:
“Nate, I heard you made 7 or more million dollars in your last fight. I don’t want to hear you complaining about being under promoted by the UFC. You should be thanking the UFC and bowing to Dana White every time you see him.”
In response to this, Nate Diaz wasn’t hesitant at all to issue a fiery statement. This is what the American native retorted in return,

Nate’s fans are excited, as the 33-year-old fighter is expected to make a cage appearance in Madison Square, New York as part of UFC 230 in November against Dustin Poirier.
It’s been two years since Diaz fought on canvas. His last cage appearance was in August 2016 against Conor McGregor as part of UFC 202, where he suffered a majority loss, stirring a lot of controversies.
Just before being defeated at the hands of Mystic Mac, Diaz had dispatched the Notorious a thrilling defeat, despite his short-notice cage appearance.
Dustin Poirier, on the other hand, boasts a three-fight winning streak marking 8 wins out of his 10 fights. The Diamond has bagged victories against fighters such as Jim Miller, Bobby Green, Justin Gaethji and Eddie Alvarez.
It is not the first time that Diaz has been in conflict with MMA’s biggest promotion and its top management. His phenomenal career revolves around petty squabbles with UFC and its officials, forcing him to stay out of the cage for prolonged periods.
According to Bruce Buffer, Diaz holds meaningless grievances against the promotion. In fact, Buffer believes that the American fighter should be at Dana White’s feet for providing him the platform to make a lustrous career. Adding to his previous statement, Buffer said,
“You got 7 or more million dollars gross before taxes, maybe much more. Which I love knowing that you have, Nate. Please, I don’t want to hear any more complaints.”
Buffer also discussed a possibility of Nate Diaz’s encounter with Conor McGregor. However, the octagon announcer wasn’t sure if the fight would realize. He stated that it all depended on the outcome of Conor vs. Nurmagomedov fight in UFC 229.
