RDX Sports which is the fastest growing sports brand in the world is proud to present its new brand ambassador, Anthony Joshua who is the current Olympic Heavyweight Champion.

Celebrating this proud moment with RDX Sports, the world leading Sports equipment manufacturer, Joshua said, “I am looking forward to working with RDX and hope to keep up my success with RDX products”.

RDX which is the fastest growing sporting brand for boxing, MMA and Muay Thai equipment and sportswear, is looking to the future, and Anthony Joshua is considered by many experts as the next big thing in the world of heavyweight boxing. The 26-year-old, 6ft 6’ boxer will be representing RDX Sports for the next 12 months.

Speaking at this occasion, the Head of Sales and Marketing at RDX, Ray Qudos said, “We can’t wait to start working with Anthony Joshua. It is a great achievement for us to be represented by such an upcoming British boxer with growing global appeal”.

Anthony Joshua is the world number one in AIBA ranking at 91 plus kg, the Olympic boxing champion has an amazing 40 wins from 43 fights record. Since turning professional he is yet to lose in his 13 fights, with all knockouts in brutal fashion, and considered the most sought after signing in the business.

At just 17 years of age, Anthony moved to the capital after growing up in Watford, and took up boxing training at the Finchley ABC.

Being an all-rounded gifted sportsman, and with speed and stamina on his side, Joshua was good at football and played at high level. He possessed speed and could easily run 100m in less than 11 seconds. However, football was not his passion as he loved boxing too much, which made him change his line to become a professional boxer.

In May 2010, Joshua became Senior ABAE Champion and later moved to GB Boxing’s Development Squad. Later that year he beat Amin Isa, to become the new Champion of Great Britian.

Anthony continued his impressive run in 2011 by retaining his ABAE title as well as defeating the Olympic and two-time World Champion Roberto Cammarelle in the quarterfinals of the World Championships. Anthony won silver medal that secured his place at the London Olympics 2012, which was the place he rose to the occasion, won gold and became the success story for Team Great Britain.

RDX Sports will be working closely with Anthony Joshua in the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned for more updates.
