Anthony Joshua’s dream title fight with Charles Martin is few days away and the air gets even more electrifying with each passing day. It’s a tough bout to predict. Who goes home a champion? Will it be AJ (15-0-KO15) or Martin (23-0-1-KO21)?  If you look at the stats they are both evenly matched. Both fighters are unbeaten in their respective careers and much is at stake in this heavyweight clash of the giants.

Recently, both came face to face each other on ‘The Gloves Are Off’ boxing show. In that show the British Heavyweight champion was fired up and claimed he beat his opponent. AJ believes, he is least bothered about the size of his opponent, who is slightly bigger than Whyte. Said that he has faced much bigger opponents in his career and doesn’t concern him at all.

The Olympic gold medal winner also believes it all comes down to how you fight inside the ring and nothing else will matter.

Talking to Sky Sports Joshua said: “He’s a bit bigger than Dillian, he’s got an aura, What can I say? This is heavyweight boxing, who hasn’t got an aura?”

“That’s the first time we’ve come face-to-face. It was alright – we’ve got respect for each other, he respects me and I respect him. But, at the same time, there’s a lack of respect due to the fact that we’ve got to fight each other. This isn’t as personal. Dillian was a bit more fired up and had more to say. Charles is more laid back – until the end when he started firing.” The 26-year-old added.

Joshua has so far knocked out each of his 15 opponents in less than 3 rounds except Whyte, who lasted 7 rounds. This stat alone is enough to scare off his opponents and we know that he’ll be looking to do the same against Martin. However, if it fails do that and fight goes the distance Martin will be favorite to win.

Tune in and witness heavyweight history unfold at the sold-out fight O2 arena, Live on Sky Sports Box Office, April 9.
