Tim Elliot is riding the wave since his return to the UFC. Many believe his best performance during his ongoing winning streak was in UFC 259 against Jordan Espinosa on March 6, 2021.

Elliot earned a landmark victory in Vegas during the preliminary card at the UFC APEX. While this victory takes him back into the top-10, Elliot reveals there was some frustration he had to overcome during the fight. It came out in the last 25 seconds of the second round when he accused his opponent of being a “woman beater”. In retrospect, the 34-year-old hoped he could have handled things differently.

The trash talk in the second round overshadowed Elliot’s victory; “I lost my cool” during the fight. However, putting aside the bitter aftertaste of this incident, now he is focused and looking forward to his upcoming fight with Kai Kara-France.
