Jarrell Miller warns Anthony Joshua that he is not like his earlier opponents. The 300lb New Yorker threatened the Britain’s heavyweight star that he has never faced anyone like him after being confirmed as his next challenger.

The unified world champion, Anthony Joshua has to defend his WBA ‘super’ IBF and WBO belts against ‘Big Baby’ Miller at Madison Square Garden in New York on June 1.

Joshua has comfortably remained on top in his previous 22 fights but Miller thinks otherwise. He claims to pose a bigger threat because of his formidable size, strength and refined skills. Miller thinks he can cause more damage to undefeated 29-year-old.

He said;

“Of course not, never, when asked if he could be compared to previous fights.

“I’m a guy that’s actually bigger than him. Anthony Joshua has an inch or so in height, that’s about it, but activity and boxing IQ, good head movement and defense.”

“I can throw a lot of punches and have a heart of 10 lions. I’m totally different.”

“That’s the main goal – run him over. I’m not playing no games with AJ. There’s no way to prepare for me. There’s no right way for preparing for a person like me.”

The Brooklyn-born fighter compares his fight with Joshua to Mike Tyson’s destructive 1996 knockout win over Frank Bruno in Las Vegas.

“Like a Frank Bruno, he came in, he looked good, and got flattened.”

“Tune in. ‘Big Baby’ Miller is not just the American champ, he’s the English champ, he’s the people’s champ.”

“If you want entertainment, you’re going to get it, and this is a fight you need to see.”

Former super-middleweight World champion Carl Froch, who fought in the United States against fighters like Jermain Taylor and Andre Ward, thinks Joshua is fully capable to outsmart Miller and succeed in making the United States fan base.

“I believe Anthony Joshua can make it a controlled performance of what he’s capable of, with an explosive finish. Miller is a very big heavyweight, but I think Joshua can wear him down and get him out of there. There is the question of whether Miller can get inside Joshua’s head and make him lose the plot? Anthony Joshua might then go for an all-out war from round one and start swinging away. I think he’d still win, but he could get caught, and it would be even more exciting for those American fans.”
