Recently Saul Canelo Alvarez penned up a 5-year 11-fight deal worth of $365 million with DAZN. However, Floyd Mayweather doesn’t seem impressed with the figures.

‘Money’ Mayweather was soon to attack his one-time nemesis on social media. Not only did the boxing’s living legend shy away from posting about Alvarez’s failed drug test but also added that making $300 million was a only a matter of half an hour for him.

Mayweather bombarded Instagram followers with the following post,

“It didn’t matter if Canelo ate his PED steak or not this night, this was by far the easiest fight of my career. Conor McQuitter was a way better fighter than Canelo’s cheating ass and I beat the brakes off him too! It takes me 36 mins or less to make $300 million plus. It literally takes me 1 night and 1 fight to make what you might make in 5 years and 11 fights! So really, who’s still winning? You do the math!”

Mayweather faced off Mexican Alvarez in 2013, grabbing a decision victory over the latter. His last bout was against former two-division champion Conor McGregor in 2017, where he was able to inch up his resume to an astounding 50-0 dispatching a 10th round KO to the Irishman. The victory brought in $300 million for the American boxer.

Though Money had only been focusing on his fortune throughout his career, Canelo’s impressive deal with DAZN has captured a lot of his attention.

Recently Floyd has been hinting about his return to the ring as well as a bout inside MMA’s cage but the ringster hasn’t practically taken any step to confirm his statements. Perhaps, Canelo’s inked agreement with DAZN may push the boxing king to spring into action.
