Just a day ago, the Russian undefeated champion challenged boxing’s best Floyd Mayweather to square off with him. Money Mayweather was already considering a comeback fight against Manny Pacquiao this year and quickly responded to the Dagestan native’s callout favorably.

Following his hard-toiled win and post-fight controversy, the reigning lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is facing suspension from Nevada Athletic Commission until it completes its investigation about the unfavorable situation that occurred after Khabib vs. McGregor encounter in UFC 229. However, it seems that the 30-year-old artist doesn’t plan to be sidelined, at least from the limelight. On Saturday evening the Russian star called out for the living boxing legend to face him off. Nurmagomedov was seen in video clip along with Mayweather’s Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe stating,

“Hey let’s go Floyd, we have to fight now. 50-0 versus 27-0. Two guys who never lose. Let’s go. Why not? Because in the jungle only one king. Only one king. Of course I am the king. Because he [Mayweather] cannot drop McGregor, but I drop him easily. Let’s fight. Let’s go.”

This isn’t the first time ‘Money’ Mayweather has been challenged by a MMA fighter. Last year the unbeaten star squared with Conor McGregor, as he defeated the former two-category UFC star to notch up his impressive record to 50-0. This time around, Mayweather responded promptly to the Eagle’s call.

While seeing a response from ‘Money’ Mayweather, Khabib answered him back on social media.

Right now, it is difficult to predict whether Khabib is really looking forward to a fight with boxing’s undefeated champion ‘Money’ Mayweather. However, it is clear that Khabib has no plans to stay away from the limelight in the future.

What do you think about Mayweather’s response to Khabib?
